Every job is quoted in writing, because no two sites are alike. These are the things that move the number, so you know what to send with your first email.

How much there is

The number of rooms and floors, and how full they are, sets the size of the crew and the number of trucks. A rough count of workstations, equipment and racks, with a few photos, is enough to start.

Getting it out of the building

A loading dock and a freight elevator make a job quicker than stairs and a passenger elevator. So does a short walk from the room to the truck. If the building limits elevator or dock time, say so when you first get in touch.

When the work can happen

Some buildings only allow contractor work in the evening or at the weekend, and a tight hand-back date can mean a bigger crew. Both are planned into the quote.

What it is

Furniture and office equipment are quick to move. Lab instruments, test chambers and heavy machinery may need crating or rigging. Devices that hold data are tracked and destroyed, with a certificate. Matching sets of furniture and current equipment are easier to resell than mixed or dated pieces.

What comes back

Equipment that resells, and the metal in what does not, has value. That value is credited against the job and shown on the settlement report.

Where it is

Most of this work is in the Ottawa region. Jobs elsewhere in Ontario and in Quebec are quoted per job.
